About Your Coach

Serwaa Daley is a dancer, choreographer, personal trainer & model. In 2018, she graduated with her Honors BFA in Dance from York University. Since graduating, Serwaa has performed in many shows for the Toronto Dance Community.  

She is interested in training dancers to improve their athleticism and performance. Her mission is help dancers achieve their Athletic Artistry through the benefits of strength training & injury prevention so that they can return to the stage without missing a beat.

FAQ

  • Training starts Saturday July 2, 2022 and will take place every Saturday for 8 weeks. The will be NO CLASS on Saturday July 30.

  • All of the sessions will take place Saturdays at 10AM in Toronto. Details will be disclosed upon completed registration.

  • 10 - 15 Dancers. I believe that a smaller group allows for more individual attention.

  • You only need to bring water, a towel, and a yoga mat. Limited mats will be available for use.

  • Makeup sessions will not be offered if you miss a day

  • In the case that a session is cancelled, I will notify the group no later than two hours beforehand. If a session is cancelled by myself, then it will be made up at a later date.

  • No worries, things happen. Make sure you warm up thoroughly and then join the group once ready.

  • No. This program is designed to teach you the correct form and work on your athletic skills that transfer over to dance. Usually bootcamps & HIIT classes are designed with a high degree of intensity to exhaust participants. This program will be conducted at a steady pace and follows a timeline.

  • The 12 week program is a full body training plan made with Dancers in mind. It will be made to accommodate training both at home and the gym. It will be based on the work done this Summer. All group training participants will get a copy before it is released to the public.

  • It depends. If the nature of your injury allows you room to train and work around certain movements then you may be able to participate. We will be squatting, running, jumping, and performing athletic movements. If your injury has you in constant pain with nearly everything you do, you may want to join us at a later time. Consult with your physician if you are unsure.

  • For 8 weeks of in person training, the super stretching, and a copy of the 12 week program, the investment is $400 CAD.

    I understand if $400 can be a lot to invest at one time. I want to make this program an accessible investment to all who are interested. For more flexibility, there is an option to secure your spot for $200 today and pay the remainder upon starting the program. The second payment will be automatically taken ONE (1) month after initial purchase.
